BIOGRAPHY:

Born and raised in Laguna Beach, CA Jenn sparked her passion for photography back in High School by her art teacher, Mr. Tiner. While going to school at Laguna Beach High School Jenn studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (S.A.I.C.) in B&W photography during a school summer program. Jenn then received her Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography degree at California State University of Long Beach. During her college years Jenn took 4 years off to travel and live in different parts of the world. Places such as Cuernvaca, Mexico; Santander, Spain; Mammoth Lakes, CA; Two Harbors and Avalon, Santa Catalina Island, CA; and Long Beach, CA. While going to school in Long Beach Jenn worked as a professional traditional Black and White photo lab printer and sold her photos in the local Summer Art Festival in Laguna Beach, The Sawdust Art Festival. Her work has been shown in-group and solo shows, on local T.V. shows “Laguna Beach” and local Channel 3, Private Collections, and local Art Festivals in Laguna Beach.

After earning her B.F.A. in Photography at CSULB, Jenn then returned to CSULB and recieved her Single Subject Art Teaching Credintial.

For 2 years Jenn had dual residency in Laguna Beach and beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. While living there she spent her time taking pictures, surfing, running, and teaching photography and digital arts & design at a local High School in Santa Barbara, Dos Pueblos High School.

Jenn now lives back in Laguna Beach, CA pursuing her freelance photography and graphic arts career.
